Smoke Detector Give-Away
Saturday, 10 March 2012 22:11

On Friday March 9th, the Cos Cob Volunteer Fire Company hosted a smoke detector give-away, to help remind folks about fire safety in the home. The event was a big success, as we gave away over 300 smoke detectors. What better time to do so than just before daylight savings time begins.

Please click here to see some photos from the event.

We would like to remind all of our friends and neighbors, that smoke alarms should be changed at least every 10 years, and batteries changed twice per year. Please click here to read more regarding smoke detector use and awareness.
