Greenwich Fire Department first responders work during a plane crash disaster drill at Westchester County Airport in Harrison May 8, 2004. The mock accident involved nearly 70 "victims" and included responders from Port Chester, Purchase, Armonk, Chappaqua, West Harrison, Greenwich, and the American Red Cross from Westchester and Greenwich. Career and Volunteer firefighters from Glenville, Byram, Round Hill, North Street, and Cos Cob participated in the event. Units involved Car 1 as main entry control point command, Engine 3, Engine 4, Engine 8 and the Mass Decon Trailer. Glenville District Chief Scott Hawkins (401) was scene command for Greenwich. The drill was coordinated by Glenville Assistant Chief Anthony Medico (402).
