Every year in the fall we mail our annual fund drive letter to the residents of our district asking for your financial support. If you are interested in supporting our organization you can follow the instructions in the mail or you can use the form below. All of us thank you for your continued support!
This years letter from our president reads as follows:
Dear Resident,
The Cos Cob Volunteer Fire Co. #1 Inc. and the Cos Cob Fire Police Patrol are once again are asking for your financial support. The Fire Co. has been serving the community since 1922 and the Patrol since 1927. Combined we provide firefighting, rescue, salvage and storm support among other tasks. This year the Fire Co. purchased a KME pumper truck to increase fire protection in your community. To operate and maintain this truck our expenses have increased. We do not receive any funds from the Town of Greenwich to operate. Please help us to continue to provide you with fire and storm protection. Donations are now also being accepted thru PayPal as well as checks. See enclosed card.
If you are interested in joining either the Fire Co. or Patrol please call (203) 622-1506. We would be happy to explain what is involved in becoming a member. Being a volunteer firefighter or patrolman can be one of the most rewarding things you will ever do.
