We are excited to announce that we have made a big purchase for the fire company! For the better part of the last decade we have been operating without an Engine, and for the last few months we have been working out the details to purchase Engine 61 from Round Hill Fire Company. This past weekend the KME that will become Engine 21 relocated to Cos Cob as we are working on the final changes for the Engine.
This exciting moment is only possible because of the generosity of our friends and neighbors. We made this purchase exclusively with dollars that have been donated to us over many years, and cannot thank everyone enough who have supported us and those that continue to. By doing so you have helped us make Cos Cob and our neighboring districts a safer place to live. We hope that once the final changes are made, and we have put Engine 21 in service, that you will come by and see the new truck in the station.
